In Memory of my Great-Grandfather, Sergeant Jesus Villarroya, 7th Infantry Div. (Philippine Division) (Philippine Scouts), who died in April, 1942 while as a P.O.W. after the surrender of the the Islands of the Philippines in Bataan with his American comrades. He endured the Bataan Death March, where he was killed after suffering malaria. His body was never recovered as was many Filipinos and Americans who died on this march. This serves as a memorial to him and to all Filipinos-Americans who took part in WW2. May they rest in peace. #5/28/12 #DayofRemeberance
